SemiHow, established in 2002, specializes in power semiconductors, leveraging over 10 years of expertise in Power Semiconductor design, fab process, and production, originally developed at Samsung Semiconductor. In 2004, the company signed a technical support and foundry agreement with CR Micro (China Resources Microelectronics), marking its entry into the Chinese and Korean markets by launching high-voltage MOSFETs. Through partnerships with foundries like FMIC, Skysilicon, and HHGrace, SemiHow expanded its product portfolio, including low-voltage trench MOSFETs, SCR, Triac, NPT IGBTs, and Super Junction MOSFETs. Its products are widely used in mobile chargers, consumer electronics, PCs, EV chargers, and other sectors. In 2018, SemiHow formed a strategic partnership with Samsung Foundry (SF) to develop power discrete products on SF’s 8-inch line. By 2019, it had developed over 110 Super Junction MOSFETs and planar MOSFETs. The company continues to innovate with new products, including FS IGBTs and Gen2 SJ MOSFETs. By 2020, over 80% of SemiHow's power discrete products were produced at SF’s 8-inch fab, benefiting from SemiHow’s 20 years of technology expertise and SF’s competitive advantages in fab capacity, quality, delivery, and cost.
